Luke Littler has marked England’s World Cup run in style – by building the LEGO World Cup trophy and hoping a Three Lions player lifts it come the final.
The World Darts Champion, who burst onto the scene at just 17, has become a global face of darts and now shares a crossover connection with the LEGO Group through football.
The Warrington-born darts star shared a video on Instagram of himself and girlfriend Faith Millar building 43020 FIFA World Cup Official Trophy while cheering on England.
The couple were seen jokingly asking whether they were proud of each other after completing the 2,842-piece LEGO Editions set, a task that is no mean feat. Littler, a football-loving Manchester United fan, also shared his hopes that an England player will replace the included exclusive minifigure – which features a World Cup-printed torso and a moulded trophy element – when the final takes place on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
The LEGO Group has marked the 2026 World Cup with a lineup of 11 sets celebrating football’s biggest names, including Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
Both superstars feature in multiple releases, such as 43012 Cristiano Ronaldo – Football Highlights and 43018 Lionel Messi – Celebration, as part of the wider range of football-themed sets tied to the tournament.
Unfortunately, 43020 FIFA World Cup Official Trophy is currently on back order at LEGO.com until June 30. However, that is only two days away.
Priced at £159.99 / $199.99 / €179.99, the set is still part of the LEGO Insiders double points event, meaning it earns 2,560 points (equivalent to 10% cashback) instead of 1,280 before the event ends tomorrow.
All 10 other LEGO Editions football sets are also currently included in the double points promotion.
