Make the LEGO Sushi Restaurant modular with under 500 pieces

Just as the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 7 sets are being shipped out, instructions to make the Sushi Restaurant modular are now available for free.

Fans are starting to receive their copies of the BrickLink Designer Program Series 7 sets, including 910060 Sushi Restaurant. You can read our review of the huge set here. Before you start building your copy of the latest building, consider whether you want it to be more modular-compatible than intended.

Such an outcome is entirely possible by modifying just the base of the build, and kiploempia has shared free instructions for such a transformation. They've split the instruction between that for the restaurant itself and one for the tram.

The base for the restaurant needs an additional 232 pieces and takes up a 48-stud width. The base for the tram needs 236 pieces and measures 16 studs wide. This way, you can pick and choose what goes into your LEGO city.

It's a great time to grab these parts using the free parts lists provided, as Pick a Brick is eligible for double points on LEGO.com. Simply place an order as normal, and you'll see your earned points doubled at checkout. Consider picking up other items, including sets to score the free 40902 Tribute to Leonardo da Vinci, before the end of tomorrow, too.

While you're expanding your city, you might as well pick up the likes of 10326 Natural History Museum and 11371 Shopping Street for those double points, too.

Brick Search Plus members can also stack double Insiders points with an extra 3% back in Brick Credits when shopping at LEGO.com via the app.
