The LEGO BrickLink Designer Program is about to get a Classic Space set, and one additional colour is practically guaranteed following a reveal this week.
The five Series 11 finalists have been revealed, covering some of the usual subjects such as Castle, a building and fantasy, but there's a complete newcomer. After 10 series, the program is finally getting something based on Classic Space, and it's even a spiritual successor to the beloved monorail.

Niloc's Lunar Cargo Train has 2,656 pieces and five minifigures. This includes three teal astronauts and two in orange, taken straight from the part selection of 21358 Minifigure Vending Machine. It will go up for crowdfunding on June 1, 2027, with the final design revealed around May.
The BrickLink Designer Program only uses parts featured in other sets, with some exceptions, similar to the elements available on Pick a Brick. Just as Pick a Brick is updated with new elements every so often, so too is the list of pieces available to the program.

Earlier this week, a new standard retail LEGO set with a Classic Space tie-in was revealed in the form of 11374 Arcade Pinball Machine, dropping on July 1 for LEGO Insiders (and July 4 for everyone else) for £189.99 / $229.99 / €209.99.
The Classic Space tie-in in 11374 Arcade Pinball Machine comes in the form of the long-awaited Light Blue Classic Space minifigure and even a baby figure. Pick a Brick usually adds new pieces around three months after a set has launched, and we can expect everything that makes up the new astronaut minifigure to land on the service well before 2027.

These pieces should then be available for BrickLink Designer Program sets next year, just as we saw with the astronauts from 21358 Minifigure Vending Machine. Expect to see the light blue minifigure added to the line-up of the Lunar Cargo Train when the build is unveiled in 2027.
That's only speculation on our part, but the outcome seems incredibly likely based on past evidence. Alternatively, the £189.99 / $229.99 / €209.99 11374 Arcade Pinball Machine will almost certainly be more affordable than the 2,600-piece BrickLink Designer Program Series 11 set instead to acquire this minifigure.
