The Formula 1 LEGO Minicar race build-up livestream has been pushed back by almost an hour, just minutes before it was due to go live.
All 22 Formula 1 drivers are set to take part in a LEGO minicar race ahead of today’s British Grand Prix, replacing the traditional Drivers’ Parade.
Formula 1 initially announced on its YouTube channel that a build-up stream would begin at 11:58am BST, an hour before the LEGO race was due to start.
Over 10,000 people were tuned in waiting for the stream to begin. However, just before going live, the start time was pushed back to 12:55pm BST.

The official channel has not provided a reason for the delay, although some fans in the live chat have speculated it could be due to the Formula 2 race earlier in the day running over schedule.
It is also possible the change was simply an administrative adjustment, and the stream was always intended to begin closer to the race start time.
Regardless of the reason, the stream will now begin at 12:55pm BST on the official Formula 1 YouTube channel. You can watch the race by clicking here.
The event has already generated significant attention, particularly after Lewis Hamilton – who recently received a LEGO set with 43022 Scuderia Ferrari HP Lewis Hamilton Helmet set – and Max Verstappen both spoke out against the concept.

Despite their comments, both drivers are still expected to take part in the challenge, driving LEGO-built mini cars that collectively contain around 616,000 pieces and can reach speeds of up to 25km/h.
The event follows the success of a similar LEGO activation ahead of last year’s Miami Grand Prix, which was won by Alpine drivers Pierre Gasly and Jack Doohan.
