2025 could be a bumper year for LEGO Star Wars buildable figures
Multiple LEGO Star Wars buildable figures are rumoured to be landing in 2025, which might make it a bumper year for such character-specific models.
Thanks to recent rumours, we’re getting a much clearer idea of what may be in store for the LEGO Star Wars theme this year. With potential returns to the prequel era, multiple battle packs and what might be a $1K Death Star, 2025 could well be an expensive 12 months for fans of a brick-built galaxy far, far away.
Also lining up for your wallet’s attention could be as many as five LEGO Star Wars buildable figures – the most of any such sets based on one theme to be released in a single year. That’s a big influx of possible character-based models and fans may have a tough time picking which favourites to add to their collections.
With that in mind, here’s the latest rundown on every LEGO Star Wars buildable figures we might get to see in 2025 so far, including one that’s already sitting on store shelves:
1 – 75403 Grogu with Hover Pram
The first LEGO Star Wars buildable figure out of the gate this year was 75403 Grogu with Hover Pram, having released on January 1. The 1,048-piece set includes a brick-built version of the cute character from The Mandalorian, one that features some fun poseability and multiple accessories.
2 – 75416 Chopper
Next up is Star Wars Rebels’ very own cantankerous astromech in the form of the rumoured 75416 Chopper, said to launch May 1. There’s no word yet regarding a potential scale for the droid, but with a possible price point of $99.99, we’re hoping the model might sit well next to the likes of 75379 R2-D2.
3 – 75428 B1 Battle Droid
The LEGO Star Wars theme may be revisiting the prequel era multiple times in 2025, which would make sense considering this year is the 20th anniversary of Revenge of the Sith. Recent rumours hint that 75428 B1 Battle Droid might well be one such release, with a $99.99 buildable version of the Trade Federation character possibly dropping in August.
4 – 75430 Ewok
Also potentially lining up well with other smaller LEGO Star Wars buildable figures may be 75430 Ewok. Rumoured to be priced at $89.99 and also said to be out in August, this set would be the first larger-scale version of the Endor native to date, following multiple minifigure releases over the years.
5 – 75434 K-2SO
Rounding out the rumoured LEGO Star Wars buildable figures for 2025 is 75434 K-2SO. Cassian Andor’s reprogrammed Imperial KX-series security droid could prove to be a popular choice with fans of Rogue One, if the rumours regarding the set prove to be true. All we’ve heard for now is that the model might be launching for $89.99, but beyond that the future for the build is a little unclear.
