$300 LEGO Family set rumoured to launch later this year
By far the biggest LEGO Family set so far is rumoured for later this year after an underwhelming start to the exclusive LEGO collection.
A new LEGO 2025 rumour from Clay_Bricks on Reddit via BrickMerge states that 41843 is coming this October as part of the limited LEGO Family range, but it will reportedly cost double that of the last two sets.
41843 is rumoured to cost $299.99 with a staggering 3,171 pieces. Compared to 41838 Travel Moments and 41839 Message Board, the piece count is also nearly double that of both previous builds and with that monumental rumoured price tag, it seems likely that the build would be suitably huge.
LEGO Family sets released so far
| Set name | Price | Pieces | Release date |
|---|---|---|---|
| 41838 Travel Moments | £129.99 / $149.99 / €149.99 | 1,231 | Aug 1, 2024 |
| 41839 Message Board | £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99 | 1,743 | Aug 1, 2024 |

The LEGO Family sets have focused on display-centric builds so far and take inspiration from a variety of topics, from furnishings to travel and even LEGO MASTERS. There’s plenty of potential for a third LEGO Family set with a $300 price tag.
Taking everything in this report with an appropriate level of caution, the rumour that the LEGO Group is continuing the LEGO Family range with a massive model is surprising considering the underwhelming launch of the first two models, which are scheduled to be retired just over a year after their release date.
Whether lessons have been learnt from the first two sets has yet to be seen, and the rumour of a third $300 LEGO Family set is intriguing, to say the least.
