The Christmas gift for LEGO employees has been revealed for 2017 as 4002017 Nutcracker.

The annual tradition of LEGO employees receiving an exclusive Christmas gift continues this year, with 4002017 Nutcracker the latest in the series. Brickset has highlighted an article at Candid Bricks that shows the set both boxed and built, revealing that it is predominantly a Technic build. It is very appropriate, as 2017 is the 40th anniversary of the challenging theme.

As noted by Brickset, the set has been listed on eBay so is within reach of fans who wish to own a rare LEGO set.

Although this set is a nice perk for working at the Billund based business, it has been a difficult year for employees at the LEGO Group, and an even harder one for those who have been made redundant.
