40565 Santa’s Workshop promotion now available on LEGO.com

The LEGO Group’s latest festive promotional item is up for grabs – but you’ll need to spend a lot in order to acquire it.

A few juicy promotional LEGO items can normally be had around December, and this year is no exception. A particular highlight this year is 40565 Santa’s Workshop, which offers a pint-size toy factory for LEGO fans. If you missed out on 10245 Santa’s Workshop (a LEGO Creator set released in 2014) this set may make a suitable alternative.

Housed in a red barn, the workshop offers some wrapped presents, a conveyor belt with finished toys, and a computer in the corner – presumably to record toy destinations. Santa Claus and elf minifigures are also provided to ‘build’ the toys themselves. It’ll be available at LEGO.com from now until December 24, and you’ll need to spend £150 / $150 / €150 in a single transaction in order to acquire it.

Of course – with Black Friday recently concluded – you may find the prospect of another major spend unappealing. On the other hand, since this is designed to connect to 40564 Winter Elves Scene (another recently available promotional item) you may not need too much convincing.
