$650 LEGO Pokémon set rumoured for Pokémon Day 2026
The latest batch of LEGO Pokémon rumours includes word of a $650, 6,000-piece model and an updated release date for every rumoured set.
Carterbricks04 on Reddit has come forward with a new batch of LEGO Pokémon rumours, stating that the highly anticipated theme has some big plans for Pokémon Day 2026. National Pokémon Day will take place on February 27, 2026, and it’s common for The Pokémon Company to celebrate with releases, major reveals, events and much more.
It’s now rumoured that the three sets reported on earlier this week – 72151, 72152 and 72153 – will be launching on February 27, 2026, for LEGO Insiders, and on March 1 for everyone. It’s also claimed that 72153 will cost $649.99 with a staggering 6,838 pieces. That would rival 75192 Millennium Falcon, which has 7,541 pieces.
Alongside this massive model, it’s stated that the LEGO Group’s plans for Pokémon Day 2026 include a gift-with-purchase in the form of 40892, which is said to be an 18+ set. While this remains a rumour, a Pokémon gift-with-purchase has the potential to be highly in-demand, looking at the current state of Pokémon trading cards.
Meanwhile, adjacent to these rumours, it is speculated that 40911 is going to be a Nintendo-related LEGO Insiders reward for 2,500 points. Here’s a look at everything claimed to be coming for LEGO Pokémon so far, but all that is confirmed currently is the existence of the theme itself.
