The most detailed minifigure in LEGO Marvel 76269 Avengers Tower was not one designer's favourite to work on and his pick is surprising.
"We have a new version of Vision which has a new cape and he's generally in a new colour scheme," states Senior Graphic Designer Mark Tranter in the set's designer video. "What we tried to do with this is show his phasing ability, which you see when he's first created. We've given him transparent legs as if he's phasing upwards."

Earlier in the video, the graphic designer confirms that Vision was not his favourite minifigure to work on, despite the level of detail in this innovative minifigure. It turns out that Tranter's favourite minifigure to work on was the revised Ultron MK1.
The original Ultron MK1 minifigure is included in the retired 76038 Attack on Avengers Tower from 2015. After eight years, it's about time for a new version of this minifigure but considering the difference in detail between it and Vision, it's surprising to hear that the Senior Graphic Designer's favourite minifigure to work on wasn't Vision.
76269 Avengers Tower and its 31 minifigures (or 32 characters) launch on November 24 for £429.99 / $499.99 / €499.99 with over 5,000 pieces. You can read our in-depth review and see our gallery of images by clicking here.
