LEGO Ideas forges brickfilm contest for 21325 Medieval Blacksmith

Budding filmmakers can now partake in a new LEGO Ideas contest, that challenges fans to imagine life without 21325 Medieval Blacksmith, with some rare LEGO sets up for grabs.

LEGO Ideas has launched a new contest for the release of 21325 Medieval Blacksmith, asking animators to create a brickfilm that showcases the middle ages without the unsung hero.

An example of what the judges are looking for can be found on the contest page and entries are expected to be between five and 30 seconds long. The prize packages for this contest include some retired, and rare LEGO sets, along with a copy of 21325 Medieval Blacksmith.

The winning entry will score a grand prize bundle of sets relating to classic LEGO themes, including 21325 Medieval Blacksmith, 21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay and 10223 Kingdoms Joust. The second-place winner will receive 21325 Medieval Blacksmith, the newly re-released 92177 Ship in a Bottle, 40448 Vintage Car and the retired 7952 Kingdoms Advent Calendar.

A final, third-place winner will be walking away with 21325 Medieval Blacksmith, 92177 Ship in a Bottle, 40448 Vintage Car and a set from the retired Games theme, 3841 Minotaurus.

The LEGO Ideas team has clearly dug through the archives to make this contest as themed to LEGO Castle as possible and it’s not hard to imagine that each prize will be much desired by fans. Entries can be submitted on the contest page where you will also find a list of rules.
