New LEGO Star Wars Death Star set rumoured for 2022

That’s no moon, it’s a new rumour regarding the return of the Death Star in LEGO Star Wars for 2022 in what could be one of its cheapest forms yet.

Brick_clicker on Instagram is reporting on a pair of Star Wars sets apparently coming in 2022, but as usual with such rumours, all information should be treated with caution until officially confirmed by the LEGO Group.

The user states that a new Death Star model is on the way in the form of 75329 Death Star Battle Scene with a reported price of $60.

With a name like that it’s not immediately clear which battle it could be referring to, whether it be a force-fueled confrontation like 75291 Death Star Final Duel or a spacefaring fight to recreate the station on a scale not exactly seen before. One possibility is a model similar to the promotional 40407 Death Star II Battle GWP but with more substance to the build.

There’s no further information for the Death Star set within the rumour but another set is listed in the form of 75330 Yoda’s Training with an apparent cost of $80. A build of that size might mean a much larger Yoda’s hut than we last saw in 75208 Yoda’s Hut.

Alternatively, the training could be from another point in the Skywalker Saga possibly as another opportunity to represent the prequels after 75309 Republic Gunship.

These rumours have yet to be confirmed by the LEGO Group but we’ll be sure to let you know if an official announcement is made in the future. In the meantime, practice caution when reading these rumours as they may be false.
