A new LEGO Star Wars Disney+ special is coming later this year

LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation is the latest animated special film coming to Disney+ as revealed at Star Wars Celebration 2022.

The LEGO Star Wars panel at Star Wars Celebration 2022 has turned out to be fruitful as the showcase ended with the announcement of a new special feature coming to Disney+ in summer 2022.

LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation arrives on August 5, and the panel went into detail on what exactly this special is. It follows in the footsteps of the Holiday Special and Terrifying Tales, this time focusing on a trip to the beach. A teaser poster was revealed during the panel, as well as full details on the voice cast and list of characters.

Any fans of LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures will be glad to hear that Yvette Nicole Brown, who was hosting the panel, will be returning as Valeria but the vacation will also include the likes of Anthony Daniels as C-3PO, Billy Dee Williams as Lando Calrissian, Kelly Marie Tran as Rose and more.

A segment of the 2022 Star Wars Advent Calendar will be based on the special, with Darth Vader in a seasonal shirt building his castle out of the sand.
