Alternate building instructions for LEGO Icons Blacktron Renegade available

LEGO Icons 10355 Blacktron Renegade actually recreates two classic Space ships – and the instructions for the second are now available.

Although 10355 Blacktron Renegade’s name only mentions one, you can build the new LEGO Icons set into another Blacktron ship: a remake of 6876 Alienator. The alternate build is also modular and doesn’t require any extra pieces in order to build it.

The design is an enhanced version of 1988’s 6876 Alienator, which was originally made of just 86 pieces. The basic silhouette is much the same, with two sturdy legs and a protruding cabin but far more detail has been added, as well as a side-build robot to flesh out the scene still further.
