Another new LEGO Harry Potter set is on the way in 2021

Details of a brand new and unrevealed LEGO Harry Potter 2021 set have turned up on the LEGO Group’s Bricks and Pieces service.

Typing the relevant set number into the ‘replacement bricks’ search function reveals the existence of 30392 Hermione’s Study Desk. While there’s no image at the moment, that product number fits the bill for a Harry Potter-themed polybag, following in the footsteps of 30407 Harry’s Journey to Hogwarts and 30420 Harry Potter and Hedwig: Owl Delivery.

The set’s price, availability, part count and contents are currently unknown, but if – as the name suggests – it only includes a Hermione Granger minifigure, it will be the first Harry Potter polybag to leave out the eponymous boy wizard. Based on previous polys, we can also expect a small build and a handful of thematic accessories, such as Hermione’s wand and books.

We’ll bring you more on 30392 Hermione’s Study Desk as and when we get it. Last year’s Harry Potter polybag was available as a gift-with-purchase at LEGO Stores in September, so chances are good we’ll see this year’s promo set turn up through similar avenues later this year.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
