Become a Master Model Builder at LEGOLAND Boston

LEGOLAND Discovery Center Boston is hiring for a Master Model Builder, where you will literally get paid to build LEGO.

According to the job description, this is a guest-facing role, where you would be part of creating and delivering a world-class experience for visitors. You would be designing, building, removing, installing, and repairing all models at the attraction, from minifigures in MINILAND to life-sized builds for events.

The Master Model Builder is given design briefs now and again, but is also encouraged to let their creative juices flow when coming up with ideas for new builds. There is also the opportunity to lead workshops and teach visitors the secret to building extraordinary LEGO creations.

The top requirements for the role include “a passion for the LEGO brand”, as well as proven experience in model making or crafts, strong artistic vision, and the ability to read drawings and sketches pertaining to model production. If that sounds like you, then start your application soon. Jobs like these don’t come around too often.

Top applicants will be invited to compete in a building competition on May 18th and 19th at the center, which is located at Somerville’s Assembly Row.
