Best look yet at LEGO DREAMZzz’ upcoming animated series
LEGO DREAMZzz’ animated series is just one week away from starting and a lengthy look at the show has debuted online.
With 11 LEGO sets launching on August 1, the LEGO Group’s efforts to promote LEGO DREAMZzz are in full swing, including the new animated series coming to YouTube on May 15, 2023.
We’ve already received a teaser trailer for the series, but now the LEGO Group has shared a five-minute-long look at LEGO DREAMZzz on YouTube.
The video serves to showcase the cast of characters – Mateo, Izzie, Logan Cooper and Zoey – and some of the sets including 71458 Crocodile Car, 71454 Mateo and Z-Blob the Robot, 71453 Izzie and Bunchu the Bunny and 71469 Nightmare Shark Ship.
However, one interesting reveal from the video is the function of the hourglasses in most of the LEGO DREAMZzz models. These items can bring dreams to life, but only for a limited time, by using the sand inside.
71458 Crocodile Car is missing the crocodile aspect in the footage, suggesting that this is something that is added later via the dream creation process. LEGO DREAMZzz’ animated series starts on May 15 and the sets release on August 1.
