The best new pieces on LEGO Pick a Brick in January 2026

It's launch day for several new pieces on the LEGO Group's online Pick a Brick service, and we've picked out the best of these elements.

Earlier today, the LEGO Group confirmed the new pieces launching on Pick a Brick this month, from models such as 21358 Minifigure Vending Machine and 10365 Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Ship. You can view the full list of added parts by clicking here, but in this report, we'll focus on the highlights.

From useful minifigure parts for Castle and Classic Space to rare hull colours, here's a look at the best new pieces on Pick a Brick in January 2026. Not all of these elements are available at the time of writing, though they are all listed on Pick a Brick.

Minifigure parts

It's a good month for new minifigure pieces on Pick a Brick, ranging from unusual recolours from 21360 Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory to statue parts from 76300 Arkham Asylum. Speaking of 76300 Arkham Asylum, there's also Poison Ivy's hair. Easily the best of these new additions is the array of elements directly from 21358 Minifigure Vending Machine, though.

You can now make a complete Classic Space minifigure in gold and teal using Pick a Brick, as well as pick up all the elements you need to army-build Kraken Warriors and Griffin Knights. These elements are more than likely to take up most of your LEGO Pick a Brick budget this month, but we're just glad they've made their way to the platform after all.

Bricks of all shapes and sizes

The range of non-printed, standard pieces that are new to the service today includes a few interesting parts from 10365 Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Ship. These hull parts will be useful in making your own ships, whether they be for LEGO Pirates, One Piece or anything else.

The 6531017 corner wedge will also be good for angled roofs, now available in a useful, dark colour.

Printed pieces

The new printed pieces available on Pick a Brick this month include a few small additions that will be worth collecting. There's a new compass print and a coin perfect for any LEGO pirate minifigure, and collectors of the recent LEGO plush parts will be glad to see 6546555 on the service.

Likely to be the best-sellers in this category are 6542336 and 6542337, the shields for the Kraken Warriors and Griffin Knights. Based on previous elements available on Pick a Brick, expect these to be as popular as the factions' corresponding torso and leg elements listed above.

A pricey pack of sails

Those wanting to get the full pack of sails from 10365 Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Ship will need to part with a whopping £69.53 / $78.13 / €79.87. You can find the pack here, but be aware that you only need to select one of the fabric parts costing that much to add the pack to your basket. It's not exactly the best in terms of value, but it is in how unusual this price is. You're probably better off buying the full 10365 Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Ship instead.
