The six best retiring LEGO sets still available to buy with double points

Dozens of retiring LEGO sets have already sold out at LEGO.com, but there are still a handful worth picking up with double points right now. Here are our top picks…

The final LEGO double points event of 2024 is here, live from today through December 10. Given the LEGO Star Wars Helmet Collection is rumoured to be firing back up again in 2025, anyone angling for a complete line-up is going to want to jump on 75351 Princess Leia (Boushh) Helmet before it retires for good. The 670-piece Return of the Jedi set is still available in the UK and US, and its limited availability through third-party retailers in some regions makes double points a pretty good deal – especially at this stage in its shelf life.

31141 Main Street

Fancy an extra 10% effective discount on a set that’s already 40% off? Look no further than 31141 Main Street, which is still available in the UK and Europe (it’s already sold out in the US). You won’t do much better than this from a price-per-piece perspective (if that’s relevant to you), but either way this retiring Creator 3-in-1 set is well worth snapping up while stock holds out.

21332 The Globe

Price: £199.99 Pieces: 2,585 Release date: February 1, 2022 Double points value: £20

Here’s one for UK fans only: 21332 The Globe is still available on these shores, and will earn you a tasty £20 in points at the minute when ordering from LEGO.com. This LEGO Ideas set is one of the more unusual in the portfolio in the way it comes together, and if you’ve had your eye on it now’s the time to strike – it’s already long gone in the US and Europe, so presumably there are only a handful left in the UK too…

60379 Deep-Sea Explorer Submarine

Price: £94.99 / $109.99 Pieces: 842 Release date: June 1, 2023 Double points value: £9.50 / $11

Last summer’s LEGO City deep sea subtheme is one of its most memorable in years, not least for all the animals it introduced or returned to the portfolio. And if sharks are your thing, you’ll want to make a beeline for 60379 Deep-Sea Explorer Submarine while you still can: this intelligently-constructed sub includes a separate shipwreck complete with three sharks. It’s a genuinely good set, and for the time being is still available in the UK and US.

10283 NASA Space Shuttle Discovery

Price: £169.99 Pieces: 2,354 Release date: April 1, 2023 Double points value: £17

If you missed out on 10283 NASA Space Shuttle Discovery during the LEGO Insiders Weekend sale, well, bad news: it’s sold out altogether in the US and Europe now. But you can still grab it in the UK and soften the blow of paying full price by earning double points and instantly qualifying for 40701 Ballerina & Nutcracker Scene (which you could always sell to make up the difference).

75290 Mos Eisley Cantina

Price: £344.99 / €399.99 Pieces: 3,187 Release date: October 1, 2020 Double points value: £34.50 / €40

It’s unfortunately long since sold out stateside, but 75290 Mos Eisley Cantina is still available in the UK and select regions of Europe at the time of writing. This really is your last chance to add the LEGO Star Wars Master Builder Series set (and its laundry list of exclusive minifigures) to your collection, and will also earn you enough LEGO Insiders points to put a dent in your January 2025 shopping list.
