Biggest discount yet on LEGO Technic 42126 Ford F-150 Raptor

LEGO Technic 42126 Ford F-150 Raptor is currently available with its biggest discount yet in the UK, bringing it closer in line with its US RRP.

For reasons known only to the LEGO Group – although we can make educated guesses – the newly-released Technic pickup truck retails for £129.99 in the UK, but just $99.99 in the US. That’s equivalent to approximately £76, although of course a direct conversion is never truly applicable where LEGO is concerned.

Instead, a more reasonable UK price tag for 42126 Ford F-150 Raptor – one more in line with the company’s traditional pricing for Technic sets – would probably sit in the ballpark of around £89.99. Happily, that’s exactly how much the bright orange truck is available for right now at IWOOT, knocking a full £40 off its regular price.

Given the set’s piece count of 1,379, 42126 Ford F-150 Raptor is probably actually underpriced in the US, rather than overpriced in the UK (presumably because the vehicle is so much more popular stateside). And that makes this discount even more enticing, because all comparisons to US pricing aside, £90 for a nearly-1,400-piece set is a bargain.

There’s no telling exactly how long this deal will last at IWOOT, so click through and take advantage while you can if 42126 Ford F-150 Raptor is high on your wish list (or on the wish list of someone you’re shopping for) this Christmas. I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then. You can follow me on Twitter at @brfa_chris.
