Billund starts work on biggest LEGO Store in Europe
The revamped store at LEGOLAND Billund is getting a new look and a new size that is set to make it the biggest LEGO store in Europe.
Ahead of its new season getting underway on April 5, LEGOLAND Billund is redesigning the LEGO Store found at the park’s entrance. Covering almost 1,000 square metres, the new store is about to become the largest LEGO retail store in Europe when it opens in a couple of months.
As well as increasing the size, the store has been redesigned to be more immersive. It will house all the usual LEGO Store trappings, like a Minifigure Factory to create yourself in miniature, the Tree of Life, and a massive Pick a Brick Wall, but also designs and elements that you won’t be able to find elsewhere.
For example, as reported by Waiting Times, LEGOLAND Billund’s Retail Director Niels Birkelund Hansen is particularly excited about the exclusive Minifigure Factory designs available only at LEGOLAND Billund, joined by store-exclusive sets that visitors to Billund have come to expect. Another feature of the upcoming store is the LEGO Mosaic Maker, where visitors can transform their own portraits into brick-built mosaics and take it away with them as souvenirs.
The new LEGOLAND Billund store will open on April 5, 2025, when the new season for the theme park gets underway.
