Brick Fanatics LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar – December 11

Brick Fanatics once more presents 24 exclusive builds from a galaxy far, fay away for you this December. Day by day, please enjoy our Unofficial LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar… December 11 – Mining Guild TIE Fighter Star Wars Rebels introduced us to a whole new world of starships. The Mining Guild TIE Fighter was used to protect the Asteroid Belt Gas Refinery. It has a unique shape and distinctive colour scheme to help it stand out from the Empire's fleet of TIE Fighters. The wings are made from 4x4 wedges with no studs on top. Inverted baby bows are clipped on to the long edges to make the front of the wings. The body starts with a 1x2 SNOT brick, with 1x2 jumper plates stuck on 3 of the sides. The top of the brick has the TIE windscreen dish, which gets turned upright to become the front of the cockpit. 1x1 cones attach to either side, and the wings connect into these. A round stud with hole sticks into the back of the brick to become the engine.
