Brick Fanatics’ top 10 LEGO minifigures of 2025

From new spins on familiar Star Wars characters to fresh Castle factions, here are Brick Fanatics’ top 10 LEGO minifigures of 2025.

We’ve already whittled down our top 10 sets from the past 12 months – head here to see which one came out on top – and now we’re turning our attention to the tiny plastic people that have populated this year’s models. Which LEGO minifigures have impressed above all others in 2025, earning a coveted spot in Brick Fanatics’ top 10 of the year?

There was a much wider spread of nominations for minifigures than sets among the Brick Fanatics team, with 37 failing to make the cut (but we’ll have chance to talk about a few of them later in the month). But between us all, these are the characters who proved to be a cut above in 2025. Let us know your favourites in the comments.

10 – Hot Tub Stormtrooper

LEGO Star Wars 75419 Death Star 76 1024x576

75419 Death Star spawned a lot of different opinions, but there’s one that everyone can agree on: Hot Tub Stormtrooper is the best Stormtrooper yet. He’s proof that you don’t need incredibly intricate arm printing or unique accessories to capture fans’ hearts, just a quirky idea well-executed.

Based on a minor cutscene in the original LEGO Star Wars video game (and revisited in The Skywalker Saga, which inspired the specific version here), the Hot Tub Stormtrooper includes dual-moulded legs and some pretty sculpted abs, as well as the obligatory helmet – ready for action, even when relaxing in a tub. The minifigure captures the signature LEGO Star Wars humour perfectly, and is an excellent addition to this year’s controversial UCS set. – Rachael

9 – Two-Face

LEGO Batman 76303 Batman Tumbler vs. Two Face The Joker review 16 1024x683

It may be a good while after The Dark Knight, but finally getting a Nolan Batman trilogy Two-Face minifigure in 2025 was most welcome. And no half measures here – the LEGO DC design team delivered a fantastic design in 76303 Batman Tumbler vs. Two-Face & The Joker, even if the burned side to Harvey Dent’s face was rather softened for the squeamish.

A great face print and torso design that take you right back to the closing stages of The Dark Knight are capped off with a brand new and exclusive hair piece. – Rob

8 – Obi-Wan Kenobi

LEGO Star Wars 75432 V 19 Torrent review 27 1024x683

The LEGO Group’s early Star Wars: The Clone Wars minifigures were based heavily on the show’s animation style, giving them huge and unsightly eyes. Thankfully, the LEGO Star Wars team’s new range of Clone Wars builds features normal-looking minifigures, including a new Obi-Wan Kenobi with that iconic armour in 75432 V-19 Torrent Starfighter.

He now features printing all over the body and (more importantly) doesn’t feature those massive eyes staring into your soul. It’s one of two great minifigures in the set and has been long-awaited by LEGO Star Wars fans. – Jack

7 – Poison Ivy

LEGO DC 76300 Arkham Asylum Poison Ivy 1200x800

How is it that two of LEGO DC’s greatest villain minifigures to date are both Poison Ivy? Probably it has something to do with her colour scheme, but also that her plant motif opens a lot of creative doors for the design team.

So it was in 2017 for her minifigure in 70908 The Scuttler, and so it is again in 2025 in 76300 Arkham Asylum. Every choice made here feels on point, from the colours to the printing to the hairpiece (and accompanying hair accessory). She’s the jewel of Arkham for sure, and one of the year’s best all round. – Chris

6 – Gingerbread Darth Vader

LEGO Christmas 2025 sets 40812 Snowman Ornaments 40809 Festive Gingerbread House 40820 Up Scaled Santa Minifigure 40806 Gingerbread AT AT Walker review 39 1024x683

I’ve been wanting 40806 Gingerbread AT-AT Walker for months now, but alas it’s still stuck on back order until January 2026. One of the main reasons I want to get my hands on the LEGO Star Wars set is its Gingerbread Darth Vader minifigure, a tasty treat version of the Dark Lord of the Sith that’s full of seasonal cheer. From his striped candy cane and cookie accessories to the character’s hilarious printed cape and piped icing decorations, the Dark Side of the Force has never been so delicious. – Matt

5 – Mihawk

lego one piece 75640 The Baratie Floating Restaurant review 6 1024x683

LEGO One Piece made a splash when it launched, debuting with a swathe of new pieces scattered throughout the minifigure-scale sets. These are used to properly depict the characters as they appear in the live-action adaptation, and therefore the anime and manga, but none are quite as accurate to all three sources as Mihawk.

Mihawk is one of the many exclusive minifigures in 75640 The Baratie Floating Restaurant, featuring new prints for the head, legs and torso and making good use of an existing hat element. The cherry on top of this excellent minifigure is undoubtedly his massive sword, completing the excellent caricature. – Jack

4 – Wolfpack Beastmaster

LEGO Collectible Minifigures 71048 Series 27 Wolfpack Beastmaster featured 1024x576

Perhaps the most sought-after minifigure in 2025, the Wolfpack Beastmaster debuted at the beginning of the year in 71048 Series 27 and renewed the classic Wolfpack faction in style. It was little surprise then that Castle fans everywhere flocked to build armies with its new torso, legs, cape and wolf elements, and that it was subsequently very difficult to find on shelves.

It’s probably the best updated LEGO Castle minifigure yet – so here’s hoping Series 29, or whatever comes next for LEGO Minifigures, can top it… – Chris

3 – Kraken Warrior

LEGO Ideas 21358 minifigure vending machine review 34 1024x682

It’s no surprise that the two Kraken Warriors ended up becoming the stars from 21358 Minifigure Vending Machine – and not just because LEGO fans always love a new Castle faction. The Kraken Warrior has a few particularly nice design choices, most notably a colour scheme which is tremendously pleasing to the eye – that rusty brown combined with murky greens and teals makes for an attention-grabbing combo.

Add to this a Viking-styled helmet and shield, plus an already iconic crest, and the Kraken Warrior feels like a modern classic LEGO minifigure design that will no doubt show up more in future. – Matthew

2 – Pirate Quartermaster

LEGO Minifigures Series 27 Pirate Quartermaster

While Wolfpack Beastmaster is considered the standout minifigure from Series 27 by many (and appears further up this list), Pirate Quartermaster is no less exciting among fans of LEGO pirates. There’s something about the combination of her large, curled hairpiece and tattered skirt element that give the Quartermaster a tangible presence – you can almost feel a confident swagger emanating from her.

Add to this her beautiful printing on her arms, legs and torso, and this feels like a cut above the usual pirate minifigure. – Matthew

1 – Spider-Punk

LEGO Minifigures 71050 Spider Verse Spider Punk 1200x800

Spider-Punk managed to stand out in 71050 Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse – a notable feat, given how many strong minifigures appeared in that collection. Where some other Spider-versions rely on accessories to show their worth, every millimetre of this minifigure screams Spider-Punk, from the arm printing to the different hair options.

The afro hair element in particular is a true marvel, but the punky mohawk comes in a close second. Even the details on the guitar contain minute Spider-Man references, translating every facet of the popular character into a LEGO version that’s just as full of life. – Rachael
