Build up your LEGO skills with official tutorials
The LEGO Group has released a flurry of videos designed to improve everything from your building technique to LEGO photography.
While many LEGO builders might stick closely to the instruction booklet, bricks are also a great way to get creative. Whether that’s from building something you dreamt up, displaying official sets in imaginative ways, or photographing and filming your builds in dramatic styles, there’s always a new way to take your LEGO set to the next level.
A series of videos from the LEGO Group could help you do so with even more flair. Covering building techniques like S.N.O.T. (Studs Not On Top) and how to film a LEGO Star Wars ship making the jump to hyperspace, six new videos released on the company’s YouTube channel all use LEGO Star Wars sets and elements to illustrate fresh tips and tricks.
Head to the LEGO Group’s YouTube channel to see the full selection of videos, with all the recent ones using LEGO Star Wars elements to illustrate their points. This isn’t the first time that such videos have been showcased on the channel, so scroll back a way to see if there are other handy LEGO skills that you might want to learn or see the full list here.

- I write about all the very best fandoms – and that means LEGO, of course. Spending so much time looking at and talking about LEGO sets is dangerous for my bank balance, but the LEGO shelves are thriving. You win some, you lose some.
