Closer look at the new LEGO Monkie Kid 2023 minifigures
The LEGO Builder app has provided a much closer look at the new LEGO Monkie Kid 2023 minifigures in 80045 Monkey King Ultra Mech.
Following its initial listing on the official online store, the LEGO Builder App has updated with a few more images not live on LEGO.com. One of these includes a high-quality look at the six new LEGO Monkie Kid minifigures, including our first look at the theme’s new characters for 2023.
The three villains in 80045 Monkey King Ultra Mech include Yellow Tusk Elephant, Azure Lion, and the Golden-Winged Eagle. Battling them is Monkie Kid, the Monkey King and the original version of Mr. Tang.
These minifigures include plenty of new pieces, some of which may find uses in other themes. These include the headgear worn by Mr. Tang and the detailed staff end elements, which is part of a new golden weapons collection for Monkie Kid in 2023.
The villains also use at least one new element each including a pair of wings and a tusk and trunk brick.
80045 Monkey King Ultra Mech will be available on January 1, 2023, for £119.99 / $159.99 / €139.99 with 1,705 pieces and six minifigures.
