Early review praises accuracy of LEGO Disney 43217 ‘Up’ House
An early review of LEGO Disney 43217 ‘Up’ House, released in honour of the brand’s 100th anniversary, praises the set for its ‘phenomenal accuracy’.
LEGO YouTuber just2good gushed over the minifigures and was especially excited about the new element for Dug, calling the dual-moulded element ‘a very accurate and interestingly crafted design’.
“The merit badge printing is phenomenally accurate for the tiny prints,” just2good goes on to note for Russell’s minifigure, picking out another area where the LEGO Group remained faithful to the source material.
“I think the house’s design is captured exceptionally well for its $60 prize,” added the YouTuber.
Overall, just2good was pleased with the set, with only minor critiques of small design flaws that don’t generally detract from the overall impression. The only main criticism was the overuse of stickers, used widely within for artwork and clocks. Other critiques generally come down to the size of the set, but if that means it can come in at this great value price point, then the YouTuber says that he’s happy.
You can make up your own mind about LEGO Disney 3217 ‘Up’ House when it comes out on April 1. Here’s a reminder of all the other sets on their way in honour of Disney’s 100th birthday.
