Every LEGO bust so far from Star Wars and Marvel, including 76215 Black Panther

LEGO Marvel 76215 Black Panther is far from the first LEGO bust with others from Star Wars and Marvel, though it is one of the only to be widely available.

The LEGO Group has a surprisingly extensive history with bust models, a history that will soon expand with 76215 Black Panther. It includes another Marvel bust too, proving that 76215 Black Panther isn’t the first in the theme.

Here’s every brick-built bust ever released leading up to and including 76215 Black Panther

5 – 10018 Darth Maul

LEGO Star Wars is home to the first bust thanks to 10018 Darth Maul in 2001. Though it may be two decades old, this bust build captures Darth Maul in a uniquely simple way compared to every other bust on this list.

4 – 75997 Ant-Man and the Wasp

Fast forward 17 years and the next LEGO bust launched, this time for LEGO Marvel. As an event-exclusive set San Diego Comic-Con 2018, 75997 Ant-Man and the Wasp depicted Ant-Man’s helmet and shoulders to scale with a shrunken Wasp, or perhaps he’s enlarged.

3 – 75227 Darth Vader Bust

In 2019, a pair of LEGO Star Wars busts were released, but at a much smaller scale than 10018 Darth Maul. This second Darth bust recreated Vader and it was available at Star Wars Celebration Chicago and as a limited release in the US at Target.

2 – 77901 Sith Trooper Bust

As part of San Diego Comic-Con 2019, 77901 Sith Trooper Bust was released, depicting the troopers from the later films in the sequel trilogy.

1 – 76215 Black Panther

Rounding out the selection, 76215 Black Panther is the most recent LEGO Marvel bust and the second to be widely available for purchase. It’s easily the biggest and most expensive of the lot too at 2,961 pieces and will retail for £299.99 in the UK, $349.99 in the US and €349.99 in Europe. You can find out more in our initial report

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
