Every LEGO Ideas set in production – November 2024
With the announcement of another LEGO Ideas set, the list of models in production for the theme grows once more with the addition of minerals.
Just as two LEGO Ideas sets launched recently in the form of 21353 The Botanical Garden and 40698 Books Are My Passion, the theme continues with a lengthy future planned out for all to see. Thanks to the fan-based nature of the range, we know exactly what’s next for LEGO Ideas years in advance.
Here’s what’s next for LEGO Ideas following the results of the first 2024 review and its single set reveal. From licensed properties new and familiar to the world of LEGO and original models, LEGO Ideas continues to be as varied as it is extensive.
Twilight: Cullen House
The first LEGO Twilight set is rumoured to be next up for LEGO Ideas as Nick Micheels is said to be launching on February 1, 2025, with 2,001 pieces for $219.99. That’s a much smaller part total than was pitched, but these are only rumours.
Knowledge is Power
The Knowledge is Power model celebrates all things STEM and while it’s transformed into a future dry, we can continue to admire Danielbradleyy’s educational collage.
Micro Rail Command Center
LEGO Insiders will at some point soon be able to celebrate the classic era of LEGO monorails as an adapted version is coming to the LEGO Insiders Rewards Centre, based on the design submitted by Falkorich.
Moon Car
Also coming to LEGO Insiders in the future from the same challenge is the Moon Car by Enchanting Noodle, depicting a futuristic vehicle with two minifigures taking a joyride.
Minifigure Prize Machine
With its promise of a new colour of Classic Space minifigure and a fresh or returning LEGO Castle faction, the Minifigure Prize Machine by Rob Vangansewinkel is a highly-anticipated upcoming LEGO Ideas set.
Western River Steamboat
Aaron Hall’s Western River Steamboat should be a massive LEGO Ideas set and hopefully, the final design sticks close to the pitched model with its many ornate features and period-appropriate details.
The Autumn Snails
The Autumn Snails GWP by Jagamax presents an oddly adorable duo of snails and other wildlife that will be gracing the deals page on LEGO.com in the future, following the likes of 40698 Books Are My Passion.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Don’t forget that a LEGO Charlie and the Chocolate Factory set has been officially confirmed thanks to Roberto Ceruti and Jody Padulano, who are the fan designers of a future model based on the sweet, but oddly tragic tale.
The Italian Riviera
The Italian Riviera by Alex Sahli is one of the most promising LEGO Ideas sets to be on the way, based solely on the impressive fan design with a stunning landscape and colourful housing to admire.
The Goonies (1985)
Delusion Brick’s take on The Goonies carries on the legacy of LEGO Dimensions thanks in no small part to an ’80s-centric LEGO Ideas challenge.
Gizmo
Gizmo from Gremlins is also on the way based on the fan-submitted design from trauma that closely resembles 75318 The Child, which it should hopefully pair nicely with.
Disney Pixar Luxo Jr.
The icon of Pixar (whatever you believe that to be, be it the ball or the lamp) is getting a LEGO Ideas set in the future too via Toby Brett which took a while to be approved for an official LEGO Ideas set.
Minerals Display
The Minerals Display by ddf72 presents an array of six minerals on custom brick-built shelving, recently approved for a LEGO Ideas model. The featured minerals are Rhodochrosite, Amethyst Geode, Black Tourmaline with Aquamarine, Orange Quartz, Emerald and Pyrite.
