30710 Skid Steer Loader

Judging from the set number and piece count of 52, the rumoured 30710 Skid Steer Loader is likely to be a polybag. A skid steer is used in construction for digging and hauling materials, made up of a main cabin set on a relatively small frame, with much of the equipment going towards the large scoop and wheels for stability.
There’s no word yet on when we can expect 30710 Skid Steer Loader, so we’ll need to wait for official confirmation from the LEGO Group to know what’s on the way.
42197 Backhoe Loader

The January 2025 LEGO Technic wave has been revealed in full kicking off with another construction-themed build. 42197 Backhoe Loader is the cheapest set in the wave at just £8.99 / $12.99 / €9.99 for a little over 100 pieces.
42198 Bush Plane

LEGO Technic will take to the skies with 42198 Bush Plane, priced at £22.99 / $26.99 / €27.99 for 333 pieces. It features a spinning propeller, a four-cylinder piston engine, and adjustable ailerons on the side and rear wings, made up – naturally – of Technic elements.
42199 Monster Jam DIGatron Pull-Back

There are two pull-back sets in the LEGO Technic January wave, including 42199 Monster Jam DIGatron Pull-Back. The JCB-branded set is available to pre-order now, complete with authentic construction features like the shovel and grabber.
42200 Monster Jam ThunderROARus Pull-Back

The perfect pull-back companion, 42200 Monster Jam ThunderROARus Pull-Back is also available to pre-order for £22.99 / $26.99 / €27.99. It features oversized wheels designed to allow builders to pull off monster truck-style tricks and flips.
42201 Deep-Sea Research Submarine

A more colourful build than we typically get from LEGO Technic, 42201 Deep-Sea Research Submarine includes steering functions and an opening cockpit to allow access to the inner mechanisms. You can also grab and lift other accessories using the working arm and grabber.
42202 Ducati Panigale V4 S

Brick-built bikes are eye-catching when on display and 42202 Ducati Panigale V4 S packs in plenty of interactive detail to boot. Available to pre-order now for £169.99 / $199.99 / €199.99, it’s one of the pricier LEGO Technic sets coming in January 2025 but with enough pieces to leave you with a satisfying build experience and full display stand.
42203 Tipping Dump Truck

Moving onto sets releasing from March 1 onwards, the number one feature any truck fan wants is a tipping truck and 42203 Tipping Dump Truck scratches that itch. Priced at a reasonable £44.99 / $49.99 / €49.99, the brick-built vehicle can steer and roll on its six wheels, perfect for construction roleplay.
42204 Fast & Furious Toyota Supra MK4

Another entry in the range of mid-sized LEGO Technic cars, 42204 Fast & Furious Toyota Supra MK4 recreates an iconic car from the Fast and Furious franchise. It includes various authentic features, going so far as to add two NOS bottles in the trunk – a staple for any real Fast and Furious driver.
42205 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

Built to a similar scale, engaging with 42205 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray doesn’t end when it’s built, with a knob on the top to control the steering while moving it around. The bright yellow colour scheme will also stand out on a shelf, lending the set well to both play and display.
42206 Oracle Red Bull Racing RB20

March marks the start of the Formula 1 season and LEGO Technic is getting in on the fun with two motorsports sets. 42206 Oracle Red Bull Racing RB20 will replicate the championship-winning Formula 1 car, complete with eye-catching livery and authentic internal engines.
42207 Ferrari SF-24

The perfect matching set for one of Red Bull’s rivals, 42207 Ferrari SF-24 features enough detail to satisfy any Formula 1 fan, such as working steering, a two-speed gearbox, and printed tires. You can even take to the track and activate DRS by adjusting the spoiler up and down.
42208 Aston Martin Valkyrie

The unique silhouette of the Aston Martin Valkyrie is rumoured to be putting the LEGO Technic elements to the test in the summer of 2025, said to cost $59.99. 42208 Aston Martin Valkyrie wouldn’t be the first time that LEGO has tackled the iconic car, with two LEGO Speed Champions sets already made, but it will be a first for the Technic theme.
42209 Volvo L120 Electric Loader

Another construction build, now rumoured for the summer of 2025, 42209 Volvo L120 Electric Loader is expected to be pretty sizable, with a rumoured price of $109.99. That would put it in a similar range as 42154 2022 Ford GT, which has almost 1,500 pieces.
42210 2 Fast 2 Furious Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34)

Another Fast & Furious-inspired set, 42210 2 Fast 2 Furious Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34) is rumoured to cost $139.99, which would make it the largest LEGO version of the beloved car by far. The set has not yet been confirmed ahead of its expected release date in the summer, so we’ll need to wait for official confirmation from the LEGO Group to be sure it’s on its way.
42211, 42212, 42213, 42214

There are four more LEGO Technic sets rumoured for the summer of 2025, known only by their set numbers: 42211, 42212, 42213, and 42214. Two are said to be priced at $59.99, which means they could be mid-sized Technic cars similar to 42204 Fast & Furious Toyota Supra MK4 and 42205 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray.
42211 and 42214 are more expensive at $99.99 and $179.99 respectively, meaning two larger and much more detailed sets could be on the way.
