The biggest announcement of the NINJAGO panel was that Dragons Rising will have a fourth season in 2026, featuring a merge of designs from throughout NINJAGO’s history and its future. A small piece of teaser artwork was also shared, offering a first look at how the season will merge designs. Lloyd’s classic outfit with the gold shoulder pads and headband is on the right, with something new, with a hood and what is either hair or a horn on the right.

The next season will be exploring lands and realms and pushing the ninja to be more emotional. A release window was not confirmed for Dragons Rising Season 4, but previously, NINJAGO seasons have launched in the first and second half of the year.

More content as part of the recent LEGO NINJAGO Legends range was confirmed to be part of NINJAGO’s future as well. Whether this will include animated content or sets is not confirmed, but the first Legends series – Monstrosity – has two tie-in sets available now. These are 71846 The Fire Knight Mech and 71847 The Guardian Dragon.

The Legends of Chima NINJAGO lore is on the table

The retired The Legends of Chima theme was re-confirmed to be canon to NINJAGO, and during the question and answer portion of the panel, the NINJAGO team stated that explaining how it connects to NINJAGO’s story isn’t a priority, but it may come out in other media. No future crossover between Chima and NINJAGO has been confirmed, but it’s certainly on the table for future content.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
