First look at LEGO 40594 Houses of the World 3

A legal document has given us a first glimpse at the next LEGO gift-with-purchase in this year’s Houses of the World series, teasing something to do with logs.

A ‘glimpse’ is maybe a bit generous here, because as is often the way for these legal documents, the first image of 40594 Houses of the World 3 is absolutely tiny. Squint and you’ll make out that it’s another microscale modular building in the vein of 40583 Houses of the World 1 and 40590 Houses of the World 2, but no prizes for guessing that much without an image anyway.

From the few pixels available, it looks like the third set in this series of gifts-with-purchase will travel to a wooded retreat, with a white-walled ground floor supporting a cabin-like upper floor. What appears to be logs built into the front white wall reinforces the forest aesthetic, likely making good use of the printed 2×2 round tiles seen in this year’s 21338 A-Frame Cabin.

We’ll have to wait for better images of 40594 Houses of the World 3 to come to any better conclusions, but we do know that this will be the third of a total four sets in this series released throughout 2023. The declaration of conformity responsible for this image gives no hints as to the freebie’s availability, but based on previous models, you can expect a minimum spend of £220 / $250 / €250.

That’s exactly how much you’ll need to spend to grab 40590 Houses of the World 2, which is available once again at LEGO.com right now, exclusively for VIP members. The second set in the series draws on traditional North African dwellings for its aesthetic, and if you missed out when it was originally available in April, now’s a great time to play catch-up, just ahead of 40594 Houses of the World 3.

In the meantime, keep an eye on Brick Fanatics for more updates on this series of GWPs.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
