First look at LEGO Marvel 76247 The Hulkbuster: The Battle of Wakanda

As part of the LEGO Marvel range, a first look 76247 The Hulkbuster: The Battle of Wakanda has showcased the exclusive Bruce Banner minifigure. 

Not only does 76247 The Hulkbuster: The Battle of Wakanda look more accurate to the Marvel Cinematic Universe than the much-larger 76210 Hulkbuster, but it includes some rare and desirable minifigures too such as an exclusive variant of Bruce Banner.

Last appearing in the initial Thor: Ragnarok and Infinity War models, the updated Bruce Banner minifigure featured in 76247 The Hulkbuster: The Battle of Wakanda still has an alternate face design showcasing the hulk transformation. However, this time with exaggerated details on sides that are more representative of Mark Ruffalo. 

Also featured are a couple of Outriders and Okoye with her most recent minifigure from the Wakanda Forever wave, complete with rear head printing too.

With this first look via MiniSuperHeroesToday at 76247 The Hulkbuster: The Battle of Wakanda, the rear of the mech can now be seen, with the details continuing around the back. 

Unfortunately, the review notes that with Bruce Banner’s hair attached, the domed head of the Hulkbuster cannot lower enough to cover the minifigure’s shirt and therefore leaving a gap. Remove the hair and it can be more fully enclosed though.

76247 The Hulkbuster: The Battle of Wakanda is available from January 1, 2023, for £44.99 / $49.99 / €49.99. It’s one of a few LEGO Marvel models launching on January 1, with more coming in March to boot.
