First look at LEGO 40759 Valentine’s Day Box

An early review has provided a first look at an upcoming unrevealed LEGO set, 40759 Celebration Series: 2. Valentine’s Day Box.

Brickset has shared images of the new release, which is presumably intended to follow on from the previously-revealed 40758 Celebration: Ferris Wheel with Fireworks given its slightly awkward naming structure. While that Creator set is believed to be a gift-with-purchase, Brickset reports that 40759 Celebration Series: 2. Valentine’s Day Box will be available to purchase outright in LEGO Stores.

The 172-piece model includes a buildable heart-shaped box that measures roughly 10.5cm wide, and sits on a base decorated with flowers, among which are the relatively new flower head elements introduced in 2024. The box is held upright by a series of transparent slopes, and contains a selection of brick-built chocolates to mimic the sort of thing you’d typically gift a romantic partner on Valentine’s Day.

Bonus: the hollow compartment means you can basically pop anything you like in there (suggestions on the back of a postcard). Brickset expects 40759 Celebration Series: 2. Valentine’s Day Box to launch on February 1, in plenty of time for the big day, but there’s no sign of it on LEGO.com just yet. And given the availability of 40758 Celebration: Ferris Wheel with Fireworks, there’s always a chance it could be a gift-with-purchase instead…

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
