First look at LEGO Marvel Avengers Tower Insiders gift-with-purchase

An initial image has surfaced of the LEGO Marvel gift-with-purchase that will accompany 76269 Avengers Tower across the Black Friday weekend later this month.

The as-yet-unnumbered (and unnamed) set includes a strangely sporty yellow New York taxi cab, a taxi driver, two Outriders and Black Panther, none of whom are among the 31-strong roster of minifigures in 76269 Avengers Tower. It’s a mysterious package all in all – the Outriders and Black Panther were never in New York together – but fits the tower’s vibes of covering the entire Infinity Saga in a single set.

The LEGO Group has already confirmed in the tower’s press release that this set will only be free when purchasing the new LEGO Marvel release from November 24 to 27 (or while stocks last), but the image below is our only glimpse at the model so far (courtesy of an email from the LEGO Insiders team). You’ll need to be signed up to the LEGO Insiders program – formerly LEGO VIP – to claim yours.

76269 Avengers Tower launches November 24 (or Black Friday) for £429.99 / $499.99 / €499.99. Buying the 5,201-piece set will likely also qualify for other freebies the LEGO Group has lined up for the year’s biggest shopping event, but it’s keeping tight-lipped on other promotions for the time being.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
