Four LEGO Star Wars sets we need from The Mandalorian Season 3

With rumours of LEGO Star Wars sets in 2023 recently surfacing and footage of The Mandalorian Season 3 revealed, we can start theorising what models are most likely.

As revealed at Star Wars Celebration 2022, The Mandalorian Season 3 is coming in February 2022 and a new trailer was showcased at the event. Unfortunately, that footage has yet to be released online.

A recent rumoured list from Promobricks of LEGO Star Wars 2023 sets included two that are said to be for the next season of The Mandalorian, offering an opportunity to theorise what’s likely for a LEGO set. Remember that the list is only a rumour at the time of writing and this article should only be treated as speculation based on official footage, evidence of past The Mandalorian models and the report.

This means the article will include spoilers for The Mandalorian Season 3 from revealed footage and information from previous seasons too.

4 – Another throne room

Mandalore will be a key part of The Mandalorian Season 3 as the devastated planet makes its live-action debut.

Though it’s not been confirmed, one scene from the trailer includes Bo-Katan on a throne awaiting what is likely Din Djarin and Grogu. Recreating this moment in a smaller model similar to 75310 Duel on Mandalore could offer a more affordable method of obtaining the Bo-Katan minifigure.

3 – An Imperial Star Destroyer

It has been reported that an Imperial Star Destroyer was part of The Mandalorian Season 3 footage and we haven’t had a non-UCS version of the vehicle since 75055 Imperial Star Destroyer in 2014.

The popular Star Wars series is the perfect excuse for an updated Imperial Star Destroyer model, perhaps following in the footsteps of 75315 Imperial Light Cruiser by including some desirable minifigures.

2 – Nevarro

Din Djarin and Grogu will be returning to Navarro next season as the pair’s new ship can be seen landing in the town. A set along the lines of 75290 Mos Eisley Cantina, but on a smaller scale, could work well as a The Mandalorian playset.

We’ve already seen several locations from the town that could be included in a LEGO model such as the schoolhouse, Marshal’s Office and a cantina.

1 – More Mandalore

Considering that this will be the first appearance of Mandalore in live-action, it would be a good opportunity to represent the planet with a dedicated model, perhaps a diorama of the ruined city or the previously speculated throne room.

In a series named after the people of the planet, it seems likely that Mandalore will play a huge role in the third season, especially with its tragic history touched on previously in LEGO Star Wars sets.
