Four major IPs that we’d like to see as the next LEGO game
TT Games is working on a new
game based on a major IP according to a careers listing, and there are plenty that we’d like to get a title. Now that
: has been released, it’s already been confirmed that work on the next brick-based title is beginning as a search has started for new members of the team to develop a game based on a major IP.Here are four properties that could be considered major that we’d like to see as the subject of this next LEGO game, but bear in mind that this is only speculation and no future titles based on any of these have been confirmed.
Avatar

It has now been confirmed that the LEGO Group will release a range of Avatar sets based on the first and second movies, likely when the sequel releases later in 2022. Considering that the franchise already has two non-LEGO titles in development, one aimed at a younger audience could help to spur interest in the franchise after the wait since the first film in 2009.
The Lord of the Rings

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is also launching later this year. 2022 marks a full decade since the original wave of LEGO The Lord of the Rings sets. While no brick-built return to Middle-Earth has been confirmed, we’d love to see the previous LEGO The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit games get a Skywalker Saga-style makeover.
Indiana Jones
In a similar position to LEGO The Lord of the Rings is Indiana Jones, though the adventurer’s brick-based titles are notably older. With another Indiana Jones film currently scheduled for 2023, starting development on a new game now might just be enough to finish in time for the sequel.
Marvel Studios’ The Infinity Saga

Looking at LEGO
: , there’s one other franchise of films that could be represented in a cohesive collection of stories twisted with the usual LEGO game comedy. The Infinity Saga from the Cinematic Universe features 23 films though, considerably more than the nine featured in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Still, we can dream.Support the work that Brick Fanatics does by purchasing your LEGO using our affiliate links.
