Free LEGO Store make and take models in August 2025
Shoppers in the UK and Europe can pick up a pair of make and take models for free this month, with LEGO Stores hosting events in both regions.
We’re nearly into the second week of August 2025 and LEGO Stores in some territories have already revealed details of two upcoming promotional events. Those in the UK and Europe will soon be able to pick up a pair of models for free, with the first of the make and takes already live in both territories.
LEGO Stores in the regions are currently offering up a Build Your City Challenge model, which is planned to run until August 10 (while stocks last). The make and take appears to be based on 60414 Fire Station with Fire Truck, with the 2024 LEGO City set replicated in miniature form.

Also up for grabs is a free Z-Blob build that’s already popped up in US stores. The LEGO DREAMZzz model replicates Mateo’s slime-based buddy using plenty of trans-green elements, all assembled on a black display base.

The Z-Blob make and take event will primarily be taking place in UK and Ireland LEGO Stores on August 23 from 10am to 12pm and then again on August 24 from 12pm to 2pm. Those in mainland Europe are best to check in advance with their nearest retailers to find out if and when they’ll be participating.
As usual, a limited number of each of the free models will be available during the promotional periods, with one build allocated per person.
While you’re grabbing those freebies, be sure to check out all of the new LEGO sets that launched on August 1, 2025. To find out about the numerous models that have arrived this month, just head here for much more information.
