Get a closer peek at LEGO Star Wars 75298 AT-AT vs Tauntaun Microfighters

Three new LEGO Star Wars sets will be launching soon and a new video is giving a better look at 75298 AT-AT vs Tauntaun Microfighters, featuring an adorable brick-built creature.

LEGO Star Wars Microfighters first started to release in 2014 and have been a yearly occurrence for the theme since, offering a good selection of miniature models and hard-to-get minifigures. Joining the subtheme in 2021 is at least two more of the Microfighter models with 75295 Millennium Falcon Microfighter and the upcoming 75298 AT-AT vs Tauntaun Microfighters double pack.

The latter of the two 2021 sets offers a duo of builds and two minifigures, including a rare appearance of a LEGO Tauntaun. The pack has now been reviewed by MandRproductions, meaning you can see every inch of the models for yourself.

Not only does this set offer a return to the Microfighter AT-AT but it also provides a cheap way to get both Hoth Luke and an AT-AT driver, two minifigures that may work well in a Hoth display. Perhaps the most tempting (or ‘tauntaun’ting) part of the set though is the Microfighter Tauntaun, which at this scale is about the right size for the snow-wandering creature.

Like the Dewback and Bantha before it, this new version of the recognisable beast is a good solution for those who missed out on the original moulded piece and is downright adorable to boot.

LEGO Star Wars 75298 AT-AT vs Tauntaun Microfighters will be available March 1 alongside two other Star Wars sets. The dual pack will cost £17.99 / $19.99 / €19.99.
