Great LEGO Race VR Experience is now open in Manchester, UK

The Great LEGO Race VR Experience has arrived at the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Manchester.

Following the launch of the Great LEGO Race VR Experience at the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Boston in the USA, the new attraction has now come to the UK. The Manchester location is now home to the VR simulator that sees riders enjoy a two-and-a-half minute Wacky Racers style race featuring LEGO themed vehicles.

“We’re thrilled to be the first location in the UK to offer this amazing experience,” said General Manager Jenn. “We were the first LEGOLAND Discovery Centre in the UK, and remain the largest, so it is fitting that we are spearheading this entirely new concept. It’s incredibly exciting to be a part of, and I’m certain our LEGO fans are going to love it!”

The new ride is not covered as part of the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre ticket price, with it costing an extra £5.00 per person. It will be available for this same rate during AFOL nights, which are an opportunity for over 18s to check out the LEGO themed attraction.
