Half of the LEGO Bricktober 2022 builds are releasing widely

Half of the LEGO Bricktober 2022 builds have been revealed to be released, widely as part of Black Friday and the LEGO VIP Weekend.

The LEGO Black Friday 2022 deals have been officially revealed, confirming a second Bricktober 2022 build for a wide release, which may bode well for the other two otherwise exclusive creations.

The annual Bricktober builds are based on rides this year with four in total for those shopping at Toys R Us stores in select regions to collect. However, it appeared that there would be no wide release for those without Toys R Us locations or with some not taking part. However, the reveal of the Dragon Adventure Ride as a VIP Reward for the LEGO VIP Weekend has now been joined by a second VIP reward for the Pirate Adventure Ride.

Note that it has only been confirmed for Australia and New Zealand at the time of writing but seems likely to be available elsewhere too.

The Dragon Adventure Ride is available now for 2,400 points on the LEGO VIP Rewards Centre until the end of November 20 and the Pirate Adventure Ride will be available starting on November 25 to 28 for 2,400 points too.

With this reveal, half of the Bricktober 2022 builds are potentially being made widely available, offering a sign of hope for the other two models.

The listing for the Dragon Adventure Ride on the VIP Rewards Centre states that it is the ‘first in a new series’. That series could be ending with the Pirate Adventure Ride but it could also continue with the wide release of the other two LEGO Bricktober 2022 sets in time too.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
