How to upgrade LEGO 10277 Crocodile Locomotive

Fans who have had issues with LEGO 10277 Crocodile Locomotive – either with it derailing, the gaps or powering it up – can find solutions in a new video.

LEGO train fans were delighted a few months ago when 102577 Crocodile Locomotive rolled into the station, with the LEGO.com exclusive finally offering a new, super detailed train aimed at the adult collector. Unfortunately, it has a little trouble staying on the rails.

“Multiple factors contribute to this, but a couple of them can be quickly traced down to the rubber bands and the fact that they increase both the width and the diameter of the wheel at this point, reducing the ability of the flange to do its job of keeping the wheel inside of the rail,” explains LEGO train fan Bamidele in this video.

He has some tips not only for to fix the derailment problem, but also how to run the train without completely dismantling it to insert the Powered Up motors.
