Last chance for more than 150 LEGO elements at Pick a Brick

The LEGO Group is removing more than 150 different LEGO elements from Pick a Brick by July, including animals, minifigure parts, accessories and more.

New LEGO pieces debut on Pick a Brick all the time, but for that to happen others must make way. The LEGO Group is therefore calling time on 167 different elements in the current assortment by the end of June or beginning of July (the specific timeline is a little fuzzy), among which are some pretty high-profile pieces for collectors of interesting or useful elements.

Top of the pile for animal fans, for example, is the sheep, which only appeared in two sets in 2021 and 2022: 10775 Mickey Mouse & Donald Duck’s Farm and 60346 Barn & Farm Animals. Likewise the latter set’s exclusive pig, which – along with the sheep – is currently out of stock. That doesn’t mean they’re gone for good just yet, but you’ll need to keep an eagle eye on LEGO.com to see if they come back before finally retiring this summer.

Also on the way out the door are minifigure accessories such as the classic revolver, brown crossbow and take-out cup, along with several torsos, hairpieces and even the Santa hat. Elsewhere, medieval army-builders should take note of the closed knight’s helmet, the metallic silver version of which is leaving Pick a Brick within the next two months. (The black version should still be available beyond July.)

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
