Last chance for double LEGO Insiders points and Jane Austen

Today is your last chance to score double LEGO Insiders points on everything at LEGO.com – including BrickLink Series 5 sets – while also qualifying for the new Jane Austen GWP.

The LEGO Group’s latest double points event wraps up at the end of play today, June 23, while 40766 Tribute to Jane Austen’s Books is available through June 27 (or while stocks last) with orders above £130 in the UK and €150 in Europe. That literary gift-with-purchase has already sold out in North America, so best not to take any chances on it being available beyond today.

And you wouldn’t want to anyway, because the smartest move is placing an order today while double points is still live. Assuming you’re signed up to the LEGO Insiders program (and if you’re not, head here to find out more), you’ll earn the equivalent of 10% cashback on all purchases to spend on future orders online and in-store.

BrickLink Designer Program Series 5 featured 1024x576

That’s true too for all five BrickLink Designer Program Series 5 sets, which are still available to crowdfund until June 24 at 12pm PT / 8pm BST. You may need to contact customer service to get the bonus points added to your account manually when the sets finally ship, but the LEGO Group has confirmed to Brick Fanatics that BrickLink sets are treated like any other pre-order as far as double points is concerned (in that they’re awarded based on the date of purchase).

Those builds don’t count towards gifts-with-purchase, however, so you’ll still need to find £130 / €150 of sets to qualify for 40766 Tribute to Jane Austen’s Books at the same time. Given we’re only a few weeks out from one of the biggest launch days of the year on June 1, that shouldn’t prove too tricky at the moment.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
