Last chance for LEGO Star Wars May the Fourth deals, including double VIP points

Today is your last chance to bag double VIP points across all LEGO Star Wars sets as part of this year’s May the Fourth offers.

40451 Tatooine Homestead – which was initially free with an £85 / $85 / €85 spend on LEGO Star Wars products – has unfortunately long since vanished from LEGO.com in the UK and Europe, although at the time of writing it is still available in the US.

Everyone can at least take advantage of double VIP points, however, which will run until the end of today across every region the LEGO Group’s official online store caters to. Double points equates to 10% cashback in vouchers to spend on future purchases and exclusive rewards, and is effectively the best deal you’ll find on those large, exclusive sets like 75192 Millennium Falcon.

This year’s brand new May the Fourth set 75308 R2-D2 is also still available on back order in the UK and Europe, with a current shipping date of June 9 – so while you won’t get it any time soon, the chance to rack up double points on a newly-released set shouldn’t be sniffed at. US fans are out of luck, though, as the buildable droid is already temporarily out of stock.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
