LEGO 10307 Eiffel Tower dazzles in a dramatic photoshoot

LEGO 10307 Eiffel Tower got a dazzling photoshoot in a European city–but not the one that you might expect.

Photographer FigsFanPhotos was keen to shoot their 10307 Eiffel Tower with a dramatic backdrop. Many people might expect such a set to appear in Paris, perhaps with the real-life structure in the background, but they went a different direction–with incredible results.

“I needed a big scenery, so I photographed the LEGO Eiffel Tower in the city of Budapest,” explained FigsFanPhotos in the Reddit post. “The final picture is one single image. I used light cubes to light it up.”

In the top image below, you can see the final result of their work, with some behind-the-scenes shots incorporated below. Despite the set being perched on a table, the end result looks close enough to the real thing that many other Reddit users had no idea it wasn’t the actual Eiffel Tower, thanks to the power of perspective and clever lighting.

“Didn’t realise this was a LEGO post at first, great effect,” wrote one person.

Another acknowledged the dangers involved with transporting such an enormous set out in public, writing: ‘Very daring to leave the LEGO Eiffel Tower out in the open considering how tall it is and could potentially get knocked over, but I’m glad you got such an awesome picture.’
