LEGO DC's massive
The latest Batmobile set to release will be a tribute to one of the earliest and most iconic Batmobile designs seen on screens.
That one minifigure is the 1966 Batman minifigure with a few differences from his appearance in 76188 Batman Classic TV Series Batmobile and 76052 Batman Classic TV Series - Batcave. The dual-moulded legs still have yet to return, but the grey legs look to be better than the dark blue variant used previously.
Features include an opening trunk containing the Bat-Computer, turning wheels and a specialised windshield element. While the description states that the Batman minifigure won't fit inside the car, we believe that it means that it isn't to scale. There should be more than enough room to keep the minifigure inside, as much as that's not the intended experience.
The LEGO Batman set joins the list of Batman-themed transports recreated as large-scale models, also including 76139 1989 Batmobile, 76240 Batmobile Tumbler, 76023 The Tumbler and 76161 1989 Batwing.
