LEGO Architecture is rumoured to have its biggest year since 2019 next year, but the question remains as to what form that return will take.
According to the latest rumours reported by Fateful_04 on Instagram, there are no less than four LEGO Architecture sets coming in 2026. That breaks the pattern of the last few years, where one large LEGO Architecture set has been released per year, from 2023's 21058 The Great Pyramid of Giza to 2025's 20162 Trevi Fountain.
While there are no rumoured details on what the four possible sets will be or even how big or expensive they'll be, it raises questions about whether LEGO Architecture will be returning to a tried and tested collection – or experimenting with something wholly new.
Never say never when it comes to LEGO collections

After all, the LEGO Group is not beyond returning to seemingly defunct collections. The LEGO Star Wars Helmet Collection returned in 2025 after a two-year hiatus with 75429 AT-AT Driver Helmet, switched out for the LEGO Star Wars diorama series, which seems to be taking a break this year.
That means LEGO Architecture could be returning to the skylines collection, where different cities got a brick-built skyline. If so, that would mark the first set of its kind since 2022's 21057 Singapore. Cities already covered in the collection include London, New York, Singapore, and more – but there's certainly still plenty more iconic skylines that could get the same treatment.
It seems likely that the four sets would at least be smaller than the detailed builds we've gotten used to of late. Four of that size and budget would be quite a risky increase, unless the LEGO Group had strong data to suggest there's an appetite for them.
The skylines were generally popular among the community and, with many fans calling for more mid-range LEGO sets across the board, might be a welcome addition for those who can't afford the much pricier sets, with the most expensive LEGO Architecture set ever rumoured for this summer in the form of 21063 Neuschwanstein Castle, with a rumoured price tag of $269.99.
There's always room for something new

On the other hand, the LEGO Group could just as easily experiment with something wholly new. In the last few months, we saw 10362 French Café join the LEGO Icons theme, perhaps dipping a toe into how minifigure-free display-centred sets perform. 10350 Tudor Corner experimented with new architectural styles, getting a warm reception from the LEGO community.
Could LEGO Architecture be posed to launch a series of sets that recreate different architectural styles, while not being based on any specific wonders? Midi-scaled New York townhouses could launch alongside British Victorian architecture, or builders could pick between French Rennaissance buildings and sleek modern builds.
Of course, this is all just speculation for now and we won't know for sure what the LEGO Group has planned until we get official confirmation, so take all of our guesswork with a pinch of salt for now.
