LEGO Artemis One space set rumoured

The LEGO Group’s 2024 space collection could be getting a lot bigger in May according to a new LEGO Icons Artemis One set rumour.

Instagram user itavixbrix via brick_clicker reports that there’s more to come from the 2024 LEGO space range, including a potential entry from LEGO Icons. 10341 Artemis One Rocket & Launchpad is rumoured to cost $259.99 with 3,601 pieces. The set numbering suggests that it could be a LEGO Icons model.

It’s also stated to release on May 15 and it seems likely that it may be based on the rocket of the same name used in 2022. Artemis One was the first in a series of missions that will enable human exploration of the Moon. It may pair well with the LEGO Ideas Apollo Saturn V sets. The launchpad aspect of the rumoured model would help with the display of the set, visually and physically.

This rumour has yet to be confirmed at the time of writing but the LEGO Group is focused on space this year in a collection that spans multiple themes. There’s even an airlock piece to connect the sets, literally.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
