LEGO Back to the Future DeLorean rumoured to feature glowing bricks
A new report indicates that the rumoured LEGO Back to the Future DeLorean set could have light brick integration for a glowing flux capacitor.
StoneWars, who was previously correct about three image options in 31205 Jim Lee Batman Collection, claim to have further information regarding the previously reported 10300 DeLorean based on the Back to the Future trilogy. They believe that it will feature a light brick, possibly used to make a flux capacitor glow.
In the movies, the flux capacitor is located between the two seats in the DeLorean and it flashes with a light sequence when activated. Provided this rumour is accurate, a light brick might only be capable of lighting it with one solid colour.
Also included in the report is the belief that 10300 DeLorean DMC-12 will launch on April 1, suggesting that we may see an official reveal within the next couple of weeks. The source recognises the suspicious nature of that date and claims that this is not a joke.
It is rumoured to include over 1,800 pieces for €179.99, higher than the previously reported price, though for that cost it is said to feature folding wheels and gullwing doors.
As always, this is only a rumour until officially confirmed by the LEGO Group and it should be treated with caution in the potential event that it is false.
