Rumoured LEGO Batman Forever Batmobile is in an awkward spot
A LEGO Batman Forever set said to be released later this year has transitioned from Batcave to Batmobile, now sitting in an awkward spot.
What was once rumoured to be a $99.99 Batcave is now stated by Redditor Clay_Bricks to be a Batmobile based on Batman Forever instead, but still with 909 pieces for $99.99. No other Batmobile has been that size.
Ultimate Collector Series-style sets including 76139 1989 Batmobile have thousands of pieces while the biggest minifigure-scale Batmobile is 70905 The Batmobile with 581 elements. 76087 Flying Fox: Batmobile Airlift Attack is near to this rumoured piece count, but includes much more than just a Batmobile.

That makes the rumoured 76304 Batman Forever Batmobile an odd entry into the collection of LEGO Batmobiles since it’s too big for just a Batmobile but too small for a larger recreation of the cinematic vehicle.
While 76304 Batman Forever Batmobile is sitting in the middle for now, that’s assuming that the set includes only the Batmobile, which it doesn’t necessarily have to. Batman Forever offers some solutions to the leftover parts presumed for the rumoured model. These could go towards a Batcave-based display, keeping to the spirit of the original rumour, possibly depicting the circular platform the car is parked on in the film.

Alternatively, a 500-piece Batmobile and one or more additional smaller vehicles would make a lot of sense for a Batman Forever set, specifically drawing inspiration from the scene where Two-Face chases Batman in weaponised vehicles. It increases the perceived value of the set too with more options for play.
Either option would be a great fix for this awkward spot the set is rumoured to sit in and the Batmobile would still me the main focus of the model in either case, capturing the iconic web-like design of the movie’s vehicle. For now, 76304 Batman Forever Batmobile is only a rumour and should be taken with caution, alongside the one other LEGO DC set rumoured for later this year.

completely forgot the larger Lego Batman Movie Batmobile – The Ultimate Batmobile, which has about 1000 pieces
The nearest has to be 42127 the Technic Batmobile. Roughly same price but that had 1300 pieces not 909.
